RED NOSE DAY 2013

Comic Relief at The Pizza Cafe has always been a staff led affair since its inception 25 years ago and to date they have raised over £12,000 for this very worthwhile charity.

This year they raised £440 ( down on previous years due to the recession) in a number of ways.The time honoured sitting in a bath of freezing beans was the highlight of the show closely followed by our new game Meal of Fortune.Customers spun the wheel to win over 30 meals donated by restaurants and takeaways in Newton Abbot.

A raffle was held with many prizes donated by our amazing local suppliers and we held a trivia quizz for our customers with the top prize of £30 Pizza Cafe Vouchers.

The day was enjoyed by everyone,especially the staff who all came to work in their pyjamas.
